Here we have a beautiful vintage 1966 Blackface Deluxe Reverb amp for sale from my personal collection. I got lucky and acquired this "virgin", all-original amp from an estate sale back in 2013. The story goes that the original owner purchased it to use with his accordion. He couldn't use it and it just sat there, covered by its original Victoria cover in his bedroom closet for years. It also comes with the original, unblemished footswitch.
The first thing I did was bring the amp to a professional amp tech (Fuchs from Clifton, NJ) to verify that it works, wipe down a little zinc oxidation, remove that "death cap" and upgrade to a 3-prong grounded power cable. This amp works perfectly and sounds spectacular! It's been used very little over the years inside my home. It's time to let this beauty go to a new owner who will appreciate its value and rarity.
